Description: - Planes: D3A1 Aichi Type 99 "Val" Features: - Colors are sampled directly from the Mitsubishi/Nakajima factory finishes catalogs, 1939-1945 - Planes features polished aluminum prop and blades - Prop blur is correct for the propeller stripes - LOD .dds files included These are several Aichi's I've been working on for the last day or so. I modeled all of them after pictures I found while researching the Val, but I cannot verify their authenticity. I am sure that many different color schemes wer present on these planes, depending on the squadron, carrier/land base, etc. The only one not modeled after a picture is the one in the "Light Grey-Green" folder...this on was made to go with my "A6M2 Model 21 (Tainan AG) skin (piloted by Masaaki Shimakawa). For those of you wanting Aichi skins, I hope these will hold you over for a while :) Installation: - If you are not using the Merciless Creations Texture Pack, you will have to extract your texture.rfa file and manually include the .dds files in this release.
